Warui George Kiguru who is 2022 Jubilee Party candidate for Kariara MCA Seat and who has taken the Murang'a County ward by storm, is not your every day typical politician during an electioneering period.

This is if his firm believe in what leadership entails, is anything to go by.
"Leadership is all about being diligent, active, selfless, visionary, calm, helpful and more so being a good listener. Leadership is placing the benefit of others first, thinking for the society and linking individual goals to the societal goals," Hon Warui says.
He adds: "An essence of leadership can be achieved when we are focused on the needs of those that we lead and aim to accomplish them without excuses. History is full of stories of different types of leaders but all are reflected on one common trait, selflessness. That's why I am ready to put societal goals before mine and tirelessly work towards the interests of Kariara people."
It is on this premise that Hon Warui says he has embarked on a relentless journey whose final destination is to see the all-inclusive advancement of Kariara Ward. He notes that majority of Kariara residents concur to the Ward's great potential yet it remains unexploited.
This, he asserts, is set on a clear roadmap that brings everyone to the decision-making table in order to drive development in Kariara Ward.
And what is Hon Warui planning towards actualizing his robust roadmap, one may ask? Well, Hon Warui who is known for walking the talk as opposed to empty populist rhetoric, outlines the following as his key priority areas of his Kariara agenda.
1. Youth empowerment:
a). Help youth in acquiring and marketing of their skills and professions in the digital world.
b). Promote Sports and Mentorship programs.
c). Improving working spaces for those in informal sector.
2. Empower differently abled community members with skills and knowledge for self-sustainability.
3. Empowering Kariara Ward farmers through:
a). Connecting with market, and lobbying for maximum returns:
b). Supporting soil testing to improve production. c). Organizing field visits and trainings.
d). Providing the services of Agricultural extension officers.
4. Conservation of environment through tree planting.
5. Promoting a healthy community through equipping our health centres and provision of NHIF cards for all.
6. Working with national and county governments to fund community priority projects.
7. Improve on waste management in our markets.
While the above stated points are just but a brief overview of Warui's detailed manifesto, he has been all over Kariara Ward meeting with various interest groups noting their main concerns to ensure that no one is left out especially youth and women whose role in Kariara development has perennially been designated to the periphery.
"Young people and women will be on the frontline of my struggle to build an all-inclusive Kariara which assures a better future for all. I will continue to focus on these key groups' efforts to realize economic development and eradicate poverty," Hon Warui states.
"There is much need for a process that ensures Kariara youth and women continue to input efforts collectively and individually to improve Kariara Ward," he adds.
