How CIA, French Intelligence Agency Conspired to Assassinate Thomas Sankara

On April 6, 2022, Burkina Faso’s ex-President Blaise Compaorรฉ was tried, convicted and sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for murder. It  took 35 years for justice to catch up with him for murdering his revolutionary socialist predecessor, Thomas Sankara (the “Che Guevara of Africa”), in a 1987 right-wing military coup.  How  long will justice take to catch up with the CIA and its French intelligence counterpart, the Direction gรฉnรฉrale de la sรฉcuritรฉ extรฉrieure (DGSE), for what appears to have been their part in masterminding or enabling the plot that overthrew and killed Sankara? As young military officers in Burkina Faso during the 1970s and 1980s, Thomas Sankara and Blaise Compaorรฉ were the best of friends. Why Kiambu, Murang'a & Nyeri typical Kikuyus are notoriously fond of addressing everyone in mother-tongue

A typical Kikuyu fella could for example be asking for directions in an urban area/thecityateyelevel.com
Kikuyus especially those who hail from Kiambu, Murang'a or Nyeri are notoriously known to be fond of addressing everyone they come around including total strangers, in their mother tongue.

A Kikuyu fella could, for instance, be asking for direction in an urban area where he/she is very aware that some people may not be Gikuyu speakers but will still go ahead and address you in the language anyway.

But why are typical 'Kuks' from the aforementiomed 3 areas so fond of using their language everywhere and on everyone which actually nauseates and pisses off some Gikuyu non-speakers to the core?

1. Assumption that every other person is a Kikuyu or understands the language

Some of those who speak to you in Gikuyu language and you are not a Kikuyu, should not be quick to offend you. They will mostly have a wrong assumption that you understands the language. Just pardon and calmly tell them that you do not understand the language.

2. Love their language

The English, French and other foreign languages that we speak so proudly and sometimes are even used to gauge our level of education and civilization are someone else's mother tongue.

If we could encourage the growth and development of our own indeginous languages to be even spoken internationally, the better.

3. It is the only language they can express themselves in

Some of those who will speak to you in Kikuyu may not have any other options left with them. The old folks that comprises of our grandmothers and grandfathers never saw the door of a classroom to learn those foreign languages that you so easily express yourself into.

Others are school dropouts whose understanding of any other language beyond mother tongue is so remote.
