On April 6, 2022, Burkina Faso’s ex-President Blaise CompaorΓ© was tried, convicted and sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for murder. It  took 35 years for justice to catch up with him for murdering his revolutionary socialist predecessor, Thomas Sankara (the “Che Guevara of Africa”), in a 1987 right-wing military coup.  How  long will justice take to catch up with the CIA and its French intelligence counterpart, the Direction gΓ©nΓ©rale de la sΓ©curitΓ© extΓ©rieure (DGSE), for what appears to have been their part in masterminding or enabling the plot that overthrew and killed Sankara? As young military officers in Burkina Faso during the 1970s and 1980s, Thomas Sankara and Blaise CompaorΓ© were the best of friends. The two traveled the country playing in a musical band together and Sankara’s parents adopted CompaorΓ© as his parents had died when he was young. Murkomen Reacts to Atwoli's Backfired Prediction on Trump's Re-election, Ruto's 2022 'Senseless' Presidential Bid

It was on Wednesday May 27, 2020 when Kenya's loose cannon Francis Atwoli declared without a wink on his eyes that the now outgoing US President Donald Trump would be re-elected during the just concluded November 3, Presidential poll.

Appearing on Citizen TV's JKL Show, Atwoli who has since abandoned his COTU Secretary General role to join other busybodies eager to block DP William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid, would on that day swear on live TV how Trump was invincible.

"Jeff! Jeff! I was here in 2016 and I predicted that Trump would knock everyone down all the way to the White House! On November, I hereby repeat to you Jeff and I want you to prove me wrong then, Trump will have no serious challenger," yapped Atwoli in his typical loud, annoying manner.

The insolently mouthy trade unionist who might have then been confused for a resourceful political strategist from a revered think tank in Washington DC, was attempting to underscore an earlier point where he had asserted with the same vigour and absolute conviction, on how Ruto will not in 2022 be elected Kenyan President.

Well, it seems the old man credited for doing absolutely nothing for Kenyan labour movement, was indeed right! Or hasn't Trump been re-elected as he foresaw it six months ago? Could it actually be the time we began taking his impeccable predictive abilities much seriously?

Well, it is upon you to decide. But I bet it might have been the reason Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Saturday evening found it worth to remind him on how he is good at seeing and reading into the future!
