To ensure his first shot hits the set target, the firebrand is solidifying his fanbase among the country's downtrodden who have billed themselves as the 'Hustlers'. As Dennis Brown once quipped; No man stands alone and for the son of Sugoi, he has a team of strategists who are helping him devise a pragmatic political formula.
Despite of his vast populace, William has kept a tightly knight circle of friends and staking on their ingeniousness, they are undoubtedly members of Ruto's 2022 strategy team. Politically, whoever makes to this squad must be secretive, heuristic, reliable and wise.
Below is a list of Tanga Tanga lieutenants who allegedly make Ruto's Strategy team;
Dennis Itumbi
On his Twitter profile, Denno describes himself as Hustler Spokesman, Communication and Digital Strategist, Journalist, Election Strategist and as a man who sells ideas. Itumbi was a pivot in Jubilee party and the role he played to propel UhuRuto to power can't go unmentioned.
With massive following on his social media platforms, Itumbi has billed himself as the 'eyes' and 'ears' of hustlers. He unravels mysteries, leaks confidential reports about their enemies and more often he propagates Ruto's gospel.
As a close ally and confidante of the second in command, Dennis is undoubtedly a council member of William's digital team. His vast experience in the field makes him a worth stone on Tanga Tanga sling.
Kipchumba Murkomen
Elgeyo Marakwet senator is perceived as Ruto's mouthpiece, whatever the vocal legislator does is interpreted as William's. Murkomen has projected himself as the staunchest and greatest defender of his master.
Kipchumba was among the key figures behind the formation of Jubilee Coalition in 2013 and his position in the camp made him Senate's majority leader between 2013-2020. He is inarguably a member of William's 2020 strategy team.
Aden Duale
Garissa Township MP has over the years remained Ruto's greatest believer, supporter and defender. His allegiance has equally seen him suffer but that has not weakened his position.
The vocal law maker was elected in 2013 through URP ticket, he also served as the majority leader in parliament between 2013 and 2020. Duale is no doubt a worth pole in Samoei's 2022 strategy team.
Kindiki Kithure
Tharaka Nithi senator was among the lawyers who represented William Ruto in ICC when the latter was accused of architecting 2007/2008 violence. When the legal scholar won 2013 senatorial race, he was elected a senate deputy speaker till 2020 when he was expunged.
Staking on the long way the scholar has threaded with the second in command, he is undoubtedly a key figure in Ruto's 2022 strategy team.
