How CIA, French Intelligence Agency Conspired to Assassinate Thomas Sankara

On April 6, 2022, Burkina Faso’s ex-President Blaise Compaorรฉ was tried, convicted and sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for murder. It  took 35 years for justice to catch up with him for murdering his revolutionary socialist predecessor, Thomas Sankara (the “Che Guevara of Africa”), in a 1987 right-wing military coup.  How  long will justice take to catch up with the CIA and its French intelligence counterpart, the Direction gรฉnรฉrale de la sรฉcuritรฉ extรฉrieure (DGSE), for what appears to have been their part in masterminding or enabling the plot that overthrew and killed Sankara? As young military officers in Burkina Faso during the 1970s and 1980s, Thomas Sankara and Blaise Compaorรฉ were the best of friends. The two traveled the country playing in a musical band together and Sankara’s parents adopted Compaorรฉ as his parents had died when he was young. In 1983, Sankara and Compaorรฉ launched a coup against Burkina Faso’s military regime by Jean-Baptiste Ouรฉdraog...

Uhuru's Unexpected Move That Has Spoilt Ruto's 2022 Winning Chances

In his book; The Art of War, Chinese philosopher, military strategist and war philanthropist Sun Tzu stated that he will win he who has better trained officers and men a sage Kenya presidential hopefuls have put into practice.

Former Agriculture Minister William Ruto has been laying ground for his 2022 course since 2013 when he joined forces with Uhuru Kenyatta. Winning the country’s top seat needs deep pockets, pragmatic strategies, extensive networks and great an army the very ingredients Samoei is currently collecting.

His enemies have tried to deflate his wheel but the man from Sugoi has managed to remain politically a float. An opportunity had presented itself weeks ago and would he have flaunted it, then his 2022 bid would have easily materialized.

Politically, Agwambo and William are immiscible courtesy of their divergent ideologies. Since 2018 handshake, Raila has been working with his erst arch rival Uhuru Kenyatta but the rumored bad blood between him and leaders allied to Kenyatta II nearly threw Jaramogi’s son off the Handshake and BBI bus an intrigue that would have necessitated Ruto-Raila Coalition.

Uhuru playing Raila and Ruto at once would have been his greatest political miscalculation for the two had started sending, ‘come-buddy-signals’ to each other. Assuming the above reunion occurred, all Samoei needed was to negotiate to fly the flag with Baba blessing his bid. Staking on their massive political statues and influential capabilities, theirs would have been unstoppable a tsunami.

To spoil Ruto’s chances, Uhuru ingeniously responded by gripping his elder brother from going astray. This has verily denied William the much needed stone for his sling. It would have been an easy win for the DP with Raila’s support but since he has lost him, the second in command will have to work extreme harder to carry the day. To him, Uhuru will remain to be perceived as a game spoiler.
